| The American Naval Base in Guantanamo has affected the economy and life of the population of this territory. In one hand it helped in the enrichment of politician and managers associated to the main Yankee leaders of the enclave, on the other, it introduced others to prostitution, drugs, smuggling, gambling and many other human miseries. |
